What is F1 Tipping?
F1 Tipping is an online Formula One prediction game. Players predict the outcome of each Grand Prix during the season to score points.

The F1 Tipping game was developed to help make the F1 season more interesting for fans to follow, with the intention that a group of people would compete together in a personalised league and share their thoughts in the message boards. However, it can also be played solo where you compete individually against the rest of the world!

Are there any costs involved?
None at all! It's all free! F1 Tipping started as a personal project to develop an F1 prediction game to help make the F1 season more interesting for fans to follow.

Driver X did not finish last! Driver Y did!?
Refer to Scoring Rules. In short, the official results at the time of calculation are used when determining your scores.

I just missed the cut off time by X seconds.
Unfortunately, while we strive to make the cut off time as late as possible, we are unable to take in any more tips after that time. You can place your tips in as early as possible then edit them later at anytime before the cut off. Check the website for the live 'time remaining' before the cut off as a guide.

Can I submit my predictions via email/phone/msn/other?
No. Submissions are only accepted via the online tipping form at www.f1tipping.com.

What prizes can I win?
It is up to your league administrator to organise prizes if they choose to do so. F1 Tipping will not be responsible for regulating leagues to ensure that any prizes offered are legitimate, this will be left entirely up to your league.

Unfortunately there are no "official" F1 Tipping prizes to be won at present. You do win a place in F1 Tipping's Hall of Fame =).

If you would like to sponsor F1 Tipping and offer a prize please contact us. We can offer to brand the website to promote your products or services.

Will I lose my points if I change to another league?
No. Your points are kept with you whichever league you join. Your old and new leagues will not have their existing points affected either.

I think I tipped Driver X whom I did not get points for.
The tip submission and calculation for F1 Tipping is fully automated to ensure consistency and reliability. Therefore, it is more likely that you have mistaken who you had tipped for or selected the wrong driver during submission. Unfortunately tips cannot be updated after the scores have been calculated.

Please ensure that you check the confirmation page after submitting your tips to make sure that you have selected the correct drivers.

I cannot sign up or login into the forum.
Registration into the forums is automatic once you sign up via the F1 Tipping sign up page. Please use the same username and password for the forums as the one you signed up with. If you are still having problems please contact us for support.

Oops... I forgot my password.
Please use the contact form to request for a new password. Quote your username and the same email account as the one you supplied when you signed up. For security reasons, passwords will only be sent to the email address that was registered upon signup.

Can I run my own F1 Tipping Game on my website/office?
F1 Tipping supports private leagues only you can invite which players you would like to join. Simply set your league to one of the private league membership settings.

Another option is the direct league sign-up page for public leagues which allow you to display link with a code that allows the public to join into your league directly. The URL for your league's direct sign-up page can be found in the Invites page (you must be logged in).

Also please refer to the information page under the heading "Customised F1 Tipping".
